SFI's job is to provide the infrastructure for helping your succeed. YOUR JOB, as a Personal SFI Advisor to your referred SFI Affiliates, is to provide the personal, one-on-one relationships so vital to your success.
Make sure every one of your Personally Referred Affiliates (PRAs) has logged into the SFI Affiliate Center and checked out the SFI LaunchPad Lesson series. Be sure to assist them with any questions they may have. GETTING STARTED IS THE HARDEST PART OF ANY JOURNEY. Your job as an advisor is to be available to your PRAs. Make sure that you are there to offer friendly guidance and support in a timely manner as your PRAs start out on their journey.
Note! NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, at least half of your affiliates will NOT become successful.
This is not a reflection of you or SFI. It's just the hard, cold reality that most people will not make the commitment and do the work necessary to succeed. Accept and acknowledge this.
ALL WE CAN DO IS GIVE PEOPLE A TRACK TO RUN ON. WE CANNOT, HOWEVER, DRAG THEM ACROSS THE FINISH LINE!! They have to want it.
In short, support your affiliates, be there for them as much as you can (especially at the start), but don't waste time trying to get people to do something who clearly aren't motivated.
Instead, and this is VERY IMPORTANT—when you identify a PRA who IS motivated, someone who IS willing to learn and apply themselves to achieve success, CONNECT WITH THEM WITHOUT DELAY! These are diamonds in the rough! Make sure they have everything they need. Support them with passion!
